Z-Day 2011 St. Cloud MN!

This March, people from all corners of the world will be standing together to increase public awareness on the issues of our time, the zeitgeist of our generation. The true mark of the third annual “Z-Day” celebration is found in its desire to educate and make known what exactly it is the Zeitgeist Movement and The Venus project represent, and the call to action required by the people for social change to occur.

That is why on ...March 13th and 14th, the students of SCSU and the community of St Cloud will be participating in this global event in order to educate and inform our brothers and sisters in central Minnesota about the issues and conflicts which every active citizen of the world should be concerned.

Sunday, March 13th: Located throughout the community in locally owned business establishments, there will be several informational booths promoting awareness about the Zeitgeist Movement and the Venus Project. This informational campaign will be about one-on-one conversation with individuals as well as dispersing “Grab-Bags” of information. (Containing a DVD-copy of Zeitgeist Addendum, a Z-Day button, information on alternative news medias, information on local-business alternatives, and other information. ) These location are TBA and will be posted throughout the week.

Monday, March 14th: From 9:00AM to 2:00PM there will be several booths in the Atwood Memorial Mall promoting many individual aspects of the Zeitgeist Movement and the Venus project. From 2:00PM to 3:00PM we will be rallying together on campus, departing from SCSU at 3:00PM to march towards Wells Fargo and US Bank, not to protest, but to promote awareness on the inherit flaws within our Monetary and Banking systems- the overall goal being to challenge current understandings and get our community to begin asking questions and creating constructive conversation.

To anyone who stands for social justice, equality, art, truth, and bettering our world, we implore you to gather with us and help spread the message.

"Fluid social change can only materialize if two circumstances are met. One, the human value system, which consists of our understandings and beliefs, must be updated and changed through education and thoughtful introspection. Two, the environment surrounding that value system must change to support the new world view. The interaction between a person's value system and their environment is what influences human behavior."
